Christmas in Germany

Chris and I went to Dresden for Christmas. European Christmas is on the 24th. We ate sausage and fried dough, we drank warm alcohol that was too strong, we rode the carousel, and then we ate some more. It started to rain, then snow, then it got too cold to be outside so we hid in a cute Irish pub and drank more alcohol until we could feel our toes again. I'd like to go back when the weather is warmer.

Prague in Winter

I moved to Prague on November 13th. It's so beautiful here. It's like a real life fairytale, full of castles, swans and magic. I'm not sure how long I will live here, but I think I could stay forever if they let me.

Visiting Chris in Ukraine

After 7 months we are reunited. Chris has been in Ukraine since March 28th. My trip was full of layovers, bad airplane food, no sleep, and a stomach full of butterflies. He met me at the airport and we stayed in Kiev for the weekend. This was my first European experience and I couldn't believe my eyes. Everything was so strange and beautiful. I spent the next two weeks at Chris' apartment in Artemovsk, about 2 hours from the Russian border. He showed me around his town, we drank beer, ate traditional Ukrainian meals, cooked borsch, played cards, visited his school, held hands, and loved every minute of it. If only I could have stayed forever. I would have been happy there with him.
